Coming from a motorsport family with years of drag and drift experience, Darren Huxley is a multi-discipline driver competing in drag racing, drifting and gymkhana. Darren competes in his unique, world first, chassis-integrated live-axle Nissan 180SX. Relatively new to Gymkhana, Darren is looking for the top step in FG.
Lauren is making her competitive motorsport debut in the 2022 Formula G Championship. One half of Team Smurf, Lauren drives a fairly stock Mazda MX5. With a few basic mods like a welded diff, lowering springs, cold air intake and modified hubs, Lauren is hoping to put a few noses out of joint this year!
Matt Holder, aka the Drift Smurf and the other half of Team Smurf, makes his gymkhana debut this year having competed in the world of drifting for the last few years. Matt drives a BMW E36 Compact that has evolved as he has progressed, and is currently running a turbocharged 1uz v8 producing 500bhp. As you can probably tell from the name, it’s all about blue!
Ryan started his motorsport career back in 2014 with just a stock mx5, progressing from drifting to barrel sprints, and developing the car along the way. After winning the Fueltopia Barrel Sprint championship, Ryan moved on to Formula G. Ryan is a regular on the Formula G podium, and is currently a resident Santa Pod drift taxi driver. You can always rely on Ryan to put on a show!
Tom Edgecombe's addiction to motorsport has brought him to Formula G! Just 19 years old, Tom is already an experienced drifter and now looks to put his car control skills to the test and find the perfect balance of grip and slip in the 2022 Championship.
Ricky Handley enters Formula G having previously competed in the Fueltopia Barrel Sprints. Ricky's Mk1 Escort's original Pinto has recently been swapped out in favour of an ST170 engine and we can't wait to see what this beast can do!
Lucas Morgan is relatively new to competitive motorsport, and is entering the Formula G Championship to grow his skillset while having an absolute blast. Lucas' weapon of choice is the Nissan 350Z, but has a passion for all types of cars and motorsport, and is ultimately aiming to compete at the highest levels of drifting.

Dmitrij drives an AWD, turbocharged GT86 with a sequential box, purpose built as the ultimate gymkhana weapon.
